What’s the difference between Morpheus8 and other microneedling procedures?
With most microneedling procedures, the microneedles are used to puncture the skin and encourage collagen production, which spurs the healing process and helps generate new, healthy skin.
Morpheus8, however, uses these same micro needles to emit radiofrequency energy in an effort to heat and tighten the skin. This added technique spurs the growth of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid at much greater levels than traditional microneedling procedures.
As a result, Morpheus8 produces longer-lasting, more drastic results for the patient.
What happens during the Morpheus8 treatment?
Morpheus8 can be used almost anywhere on the body — from the face to the arms, neck, and hands.
When you come to a consultation at New Life Cosmetic Surgery Center, we will examine you and determine if you are a good candidate for Morpheus8. You will discuss how this procedure works and you will be able to talk about a specific plan for your specific wants and desires.

This treatment can also be combined with PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) to create more drastic results quicker. With the PRP, a quick blood draw is performed and the blood is placed in a centrifuge to collect your body’s growth factors. This organic facial creates brilliant skin using your body’s own healing cells.
This is no real downtime to this procedure. You can return to your normal daily routine immediately after but we do suggest that there is no direct sunlight to this area. There is some minor swelling and redness and your make-up can be applied within 1 to 2 days.
Visible results can be seen within a few days, but typically after three weeks, the most noticeable results appear. Improvements continue up to three months after treatment.
How long does it last?
Depending on your needs, you may start with anywhere between 1 and 3 treatments in the first year. The results of the Morpheus8 treatment are permanent, but your skin will need to continue to be encouraged to produce collagen to keep your skin looking youthful.
