About Menopause Treatments
Menopause is a natural stage in a woman’s life that marks the end of her menstrual cycles. It is specifically characterized by a lack of menstruation for 12 consecutive months. Many women experience side effects or symptoms for several years before menopause. During menopause, the body’s natural estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone can become imbalanced, which can result in hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, fatigue, and more. (2) BHRT is designed to restore these hormonal deficiencies by replacing them with chemically identical hormones, offering relief from associated symptoms. We offer both plant-based hormonal pellets and hormonal injections to help each patient improve their daily comfort and restore their overall quality of life.
Benefits
BHRT offers several benefits for menopausal women. Several of these include:
- Symptom Relief: Patients often experience relief from common symptoms associated with hormone imbalance, such as hot flashes, mood swings, or fatigue.
- Better Sleep Quality: Managing night sweats often leads to an improvement in sleep patterns, allowing for more quality sleep.
- Mood Stabilization: Our menopause treatments can help mitigate mood swings or irritability, enhancing one’s overall mental mood.
- Enhanced Bone Density: By restoring estrogen levels, menopause treatments can help strengthen the bones and prevent any fractures or other injuries.
- Improved Vaginal Health: BHRT can alleviate vaginal dryness and irritation during sexual intimacy, enhancing each patient’s satisfaction and comfort.
Candidates
Ideal candidates for our treatments include perimenopausal or menopausal women seeking relief from their symptoms. These symptoms may include hot flashes, migraines, night sweats, palpitations, vaginal dryness, irritation, anxiety, focus issues, and more. Individuals interested in more natural and less synthetic treatments are also recommended for BHRT, as the hormones used in treatment are chemically identical to those produced within the body.
All candidates interested in BHRT should be in good overall health without any underlying medical conditions that may affect the results of the treatment. It is also important that realistic expectations are held regarding the outcome of the treatment. A wellness specialist from our team will determine each patient’s candidacy for menopause treatment during their personal consultation.
Personal Consultation
Before starting their menopause treatment, each patient is asked to attend a consultation. This consultation is not only a great opportunity for each patient to get to know the wellness specialist guiding their treatment, but also to have each of their questions answered. Your specialist will explain what BHRT entails before learning more about your medical history, symptoms, and ideal results. If needed, we may order lab testing to help provide a comprehensive analysis of each patient’s health.
The wellness specialist will use the information gathered to craft each patient’s treatment plan, tailoring certain aspects to address their specific concerns.

Procedure
Hormone Pellet Therapy
Hormone pellet therapy is one of the safest and most effective methods of hormone replacement. When performing this treatment, your wellness nurse practitioner will carefully place a pellet beneath the skin, where it then gradually releases hormones into the bloodstream. These pellets have minimal risk of allergic reaction, and are the size of a long grain of rice. The pellet will release hormones over the following several months, restoring each patient’s hormonal stability.
Recovery
Immediately following each patient’s treatment, they will be able to return to their schedule as normal. As they adjust to their medication, it is common to experience side effects such as headaches, tenderness, or acne. Swelling or tenderness may also be experienced at the injection site, but these effects are temporary and will dissipate on their own. Patients may be instructed to avoid physical activities or using hot tubs and baths for the first several days of healing. As each patient continues using their medications, these side effects will subside and showcase improvements in energy, sleep, or skin quality. Additionally, your wellness specialist will provide more detailed recovery instructions during your consultation.
Results

The initial effects of menopause treatments can be seen several weeks after the start of the treatment, with full results becoming more noticeable after several months. Women can enjoy relief from certain symptoms, such as hot flashes or night sweats. Patients will be able to experience enhancements in their mood, sleep, and focus, with many also noticing an improved libido. Reducing the effects of menopause allows women to live their lives more functionally and comfortably, restoring their overall confidence.
Our menopause treatments are associated with high patient satisfaction rates, as we offer only the highest quality treatments for each of our patients.
